There is a lot happening here in the 46th, so make sure to check out our

new calendar for all upcoming events.

We have 2 events this week:

Thursday, June 8th

- We will be hosting a candidate forum to replace Representative Farrell on Thursday, June 8th. This will also be at the Seattle Mennonite Church, in the evening. Start time is TBA, but probably 7 or 7:30.

No Signs on the Church Exterior, please!
- Our hosts, the Mennonite Church, have asked us to ensure that no campaigns post their signs on the outside of the Church during future meetings.

Doors open at 10am, meeting to begin at 10:30am
- The King County Democrats will be hosting the appointment meeting on Saturday, 6/10 at the Seattle Mennonite Church in Lake City. Doors will open at 10 AM, and the meeting will be called to order at 10:30.
- PCOs will vote to choose three qualified candidates, in ranked order of preference, to recommend to the King County Council. The Council will select from the list of three names on Monday, 6/12.
- Candidates must be nominated at this meeting, and the nomination seconded, to be considered for the appointment.
- King County Democrats sent the call for this meeting yesterday to PCOs via email (and mail to those with invalid addresses).
- Before PCOs vote, the meeting will be recessed for a 45-minute candidate forum hosted by the 46th Democrats.
- The meeting is open to the public, but the lower-level seating will be reserved for credentialed PCOs, County Executive Board members, and media.
No Signs on the Church Exterior, please!
