Feb. 8, 2022 Phonebanks for Schools

Greetings to our friends in the 1st, the 45th & 46th!

Below is the information that Cathy Febrache sent out in the 1st LD for the volunteer opportunities for Northshore's ballot measures and I would so appreciate it if you could share this in the 45th & 46th too. You may already have the information about Lake Washington from Nathan but I have included it here as well. Ballots will be out in about 2 weeks but we will be phoning up until election day.

We also could use a few people with experience putting up campaign signs around Kenmore & Woodinville. Last cycle we only put them up on main roads & intersections and near schools, rather than in yards, but if anyone has a terrific yard location in a busy neighborhood, that is great too.

Thanks!

Cheryl Stanford

Please commit to 2 shifts (2.5 hr. each) of phone banking.

You will need an Action ID to Phonebank. If you do not have an Action ID, follow the tutorials attached.

You can phonebank any time it is convenient or with others on Zoom at designated dates and times. Doing this work together is fun and easy! You can watch and listen to others make calls and ask questions. If a voter needs more info, there are people there to help. You won’t be on your own.

Use a computer and your own phone to call selected voters. Script provided.  Once you have an Action ID, use the link to log in. Your first voter appears with name and phone, etc. It’s super easy! The Zoom invite will be sent the day before. The link to the virtual phone bank may change, in which case it will be sent with the Zoom invite. If you prefer to do this on your own, you are welcome to choose your own time - Log into the VAN phonebank and make calls anytime between 9:00am and 8pm.
