Call to a Special Meeting of the 2020 – 2021 46th District Democrats
Who: Members in good standing of the “old” 46th District Democrats on December 31, 2021*
When: 11:00am, Saturday, July 9, 2022
Where: Northgate Community Center and Lawn, 10510 5th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125
What: Ratification Meeting under the 46th LD Bylaws, Article 17
Why: To ratify all Actions taken by the 46th District Democrats at virtual meetings from March 2020 – February 2022, under the Bylaws Amendment adopted in a vote-by-mail election held in March 2020.
More Information: Please join the “old” 46th District Democrats as we comply with the 46th District bylaws Article 17, and ratify our actions taken at meetings during the Covid emergency.
A package with the agendas, non-executive session portions of the minutes, and lists of the actions taken at each meeting will be available to all individuals who were members of the “old” district boundaries cohort, on Sunday, July 3rd for perusal in advance of the meeting.
The entirety of the actions taken during the Covid emergency in the old district will be up for ratification in one motion, with an opportunity to flag any individual item for independent consideration (this is essentially a motion to divide the question, with a pre-established mechanism for the purpose of organizing the list and the debate on these items).
The 2022 46th District Democrats’ Summer Picnic will be held at the same location starting at noon on the same day, July 9, 2022. We hope you will stay for the festivities!
