Call to Meeting – February 17, 2026 Regular Membership Meeting
Hello 46th District Democrats –
This is your official CALL TO MEETING for the Feb. 17, 2026 46th District Democrats Membership Meeting, starting at 7pm on Zoom.
🔵 MEETING PARTICIPATION:
- To request an accommodation, please follow the steps outlined on the 46th Dems Accommodations Request Process. Forty-eight (48) hours notice is appreciated.
- Eligible voters will receive a voting code (for balloted votes only), at the email address provided for their 46th District Democrats membership, the night before the scheduled meeting. For questions regarding voting codes, please email Effective Meetings Chair, Nathan Antonio, at [email protected]
🔵 REVIEW MEMBERSHIP STATUS:
Per our Standing Rules, all 2025 memberships expired on Feb. 1. So, if you are not a PCO, or if you haven't joined or renewed your membership since November (2025), then you're no longer a voting member of the 46th District Democrats
IF YOU WERE A 2025 MEMBER – you can renew up to 24 hours before any meeting at which a vote takes place, to be eligible to vote at that meeting. So, renew by February 16, and you can vote at the February 17 Regular Membership Meeting. But don't wait! It will be easier for everyone if you do it TODAY! [**Renew or Join by February 15th to vote in the State Party administered State Delegates Elections on March 1]
IF YOU WERE NOT A MEMBER IN 2025 – you can renew at any time, but it will be 21 days before you are eligible to vote at our meetings. So, it's too late to join and vote at the Feb. 17 Membership Meeting, but join by Feb 24, to be able to vote at the March 17 Membership Meeting (21 days later).
RENEWING IS QUICK AND EASY - simply click on the link below to start or renew your membership:

There’s still time to run for State Delegate!

There’s still time to run for State Delegate and represent us at the 2026 Washington State Democratic Convention, June 19-21 in Spokane (attend in person or virtually!).
You just need to SELF-NOMINATE by Friday, February 20 at 5pm.
Check out the profiles of people who have already self-nominated!
Delegates vote on platform and resolutions that will guide party advocacy for the next two years.
There are also trainings, and caucus and council meetings; plus the chance to socialize and meet Dems from around the state and learn about the challenges and successes of Dems in other areas.

You've got questions - we've got answers!
What is a State Delegate?
- A State Delegate is a person chosen by each Legislative District Party Organization (that's us - the 46th Legislative District Democrats!) to represent their district at the 2026 Washington State Democratic Convention.
- In addition to attending the convention (either in person or virtually), the delegates and alternates will meet online several times in advance of the meeting, to vote on the 46th’s submissions of platform amendments and resolutions.
- There is no fee to be a delegate or to attend the convention. However, if attending in person, you will be responsible for other costs, such as transportation/gas, hotel and meals.
- The 46th Legislative District will be electing 25 delegates and 10 alternates. Together, these members will make up our "delegation."
- Delegates must be willing to publicly identify as a Democrat.
- 46th Legislative District Delegates must reside in the 46th Legislative District. Click here to see our map.
- Current Members of the 46th Legislative District Democrats will vote for delegates.
- Current Members are/will be:
- those who have joined or renewed their membership since November 2025.
- 2025 members who renew their membership by Feb 15.
- New members who join by Feb 15 (this is an exception to our 21-day waiting period). Click here to see membership options, including no fee options!
- Voting will be administered virtually by the State Party and ballots will be emailed to 46th Dems members who are eligible to vote (see above)
- Voting will be held on Sunday, March 1, opening at 10:00 am and closing at 7:00 pm.
