🔵 MEETING PARTICIPATION:
- To request an accommodation, please follow the steps outlined on the 46th Dems Accommodations Request Process. Forty-eight (48) hours notice is appreciated.
- Eligible voters will receive a voting code (for balloted votes only), at the email address provided for their 46th District Democrats membership, the night before the scheduled meeting. 🔵 REVIEW MEMBERSHIP STATUS:
Per our Standing Rules, all 2025 memberships expired on Feb. 1. Therefore, if you are not a PCO, or if you haven't joined or renewed your membership since November (2025), then you are no longer a voting member of the 46th District Democrats
IF YOU WERE A 2025 MEMBER – you can renew up to 24 hours before any meeting at which a vote takes place, to be eligible to vote at that meeting. So, renew by June 15, and you can vote at the June 16 Regular Membership Meeting. But don't wait! It will be easier for everyone if you do it TODAY!
IF YOU WERE NOT A MEMBER IN 2025 – you can join at any time, but it will be 21 days before you are eligible to vote at our meetings.

🔵 EXECUTIVE BOARD VACANCY SELF-NOMINATION RULES:
We have one Executive Board position to consider during our June Meeting:

Alternate to the King County Democrats Central Committee (aka KCDCC Alternate)

The duties of the Alternate to the KCDCC Executive Board are described in Section 5.10 of our Bylaws. The Alternate to the KCDCC Executive Board shall represent the District on that Board in the event the representatives or the Chair cannot attend a meeting. Additionally, Section 5.10.b states, “alternates shall also perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the Chair.”
These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Attending all KCDCC meetings, even if the Representatives and Chair are also in attendance. The KCDCC Executive Board typically meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month via Zoom from 6:30 - 9:00pm.
- Reading and understanding the bylaws and rules of KCDCC.
- Reporting on the activities of the KCDCC Executive Board at 46th District Democrats Membership Meetings.

Only Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) are eligible to vote for this position.
RULES FOR SELF-NOMINATION: PCOs and Members in good standing interested in filling this vacancy must:
- Self-nominate by Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 5pm by emailing [email protected], and CC’ing [email protected] and [email protected]
- Use put "Self-Nomination for Eboard KCDCC Alternate Position" in the Subject line.
- Include your preferred pronouns
Please submit a written statement when you self-nominate. Nominations and Statements will be posted to the website in the order they are received, but not later than Monday, June 15, 2026. Your written statement may be up to 500 words, and you may include a head shot.
