Join me for my Saturday drop-in, in-district discussion time (my "Traveling Town Hall") this Saturday Feb 1 from 10 am - 12 pm at Bagel Oasis on NE 65th St in Ravenna. Glad to discuss my bills, state budget, climate, guns, education, concerns over how land use proposals would preempt your local officials. or discuss national politics and how it influences WA with your neighbors.
With a short legislative session, things are moving incredibly quick. Hearings have been held on my bills to address sexual misconduct by faculty and staff at universities; testing and removing lead from our children's school drinking water; requiring fossil fuel facility decisions to consider the life cycle greenhouse gas emissions; bringing accountability to hundreds of so-called special purpose districts whose commissioners never actually stand for election...
