From 4-5pm, we're adding a District 5 Town Hall portion to the end of our event!

With the news that our District 5 Seattle City Councilmember, Cathy Moore, is set to resign from her position on July 7, we want to give our D5 community (most of which falls within the 46th legislative district) a chance to have a voice in who will be our next city councilmember.

The town hall will be a chance for all D5 democrats to converse and convene with their fellow community members, to share their visions and priorities for our district. All input will be shared with those who apply for the D5 council member position and with current city councilmembers, for their consideration as they select the appointee.

We also expect that several applicants will join us, so this will be a chance to meet with and learn about them as well!
