Re-org Meeting Materials
Today is the Day!
The 46th District Re-organization Meeting is today at 11:00am.
This update includes meeting materials and links.
Important: There are no voting codes for today's meeting. The online voting system King County will be using, features different security.
The primary business of the re-org will be choosing our officers and representatives for the next term of two years.
Before we get started with that, we will hear from Chris Porter, state committee member from the 34th LD, who is running for re-election to the King Conservation District.
We will also have the opportunity to re-authorize the continuing work of the Seattle Policy Paper group. Their work product that has begun can be viewed here and here. (Keep in mind, they are about half-finished, and still working through proposed planks.)
The minutes from December are here.
Candidate Elections: You have been receiving candidate statements for the "statutory" officers of chair, vice chair, and state committee representatives throughout the last three days.
You will find a full voters guide for all of the candidates here: Voters Guide for 46th LD Officer Candidates
Please take a moment to read through the statements from the candidates - they have worked hard to provide information to you.
To learn about the duties of the officers, you will find them in the officers section of the current Bylaws, which can be found here: Click Here for current Bylaws
If you have not yet registered for the Zoom meeting, you can do so here: Click Here for Zoom registration link
Members may also participate in-person at the Lake City Library. 12501 28th Ave. N.E., Seattle, WA 98125 Google map directions
Check-in both on Zoom and in-person starts at 10:30am.
